• Responsibilities and Duties Overview:
• Responsible for global cash management and repatriation of funds across 22 different currencies
• Monitor balances in Multi Currency Notional Cash Pool and intercompany funding to satisfy subsidiary cash needs.
• Responsible for the daily and monthly revolving credit line borrowing requests to ensure the company’s liquidity and cash requirements are met.
• Reduced foreign exchange risk exposure with strategic hedging strategies and currency management practices.
• Preparation and lodgement of the quarterly Covenant reporting: Future forecasting to ensure covenant compliance with all key covenants and obligations.
• Responsible for all global corporate insurance policies across Casualty, Property and Executive. Ensuring the renewal submissions are provided on time and that all facets of the business are adequately insure.
• Engage with bank partners as required to build relationships for all global banking requirements.
• Coordinated with accounting teams to ensure accurate recording of treasury transactions in general ledger systems and timely reconciliation of discrepancies.

Key Achievements:

• President Award 2023 – received the highest award in the company for the successful launch of the Global Multi Notional Cash pools system saving the company over $900k in interest expense in the first year of implementation.
• Received Chief Financial Officer award in 2022 for re-creating and improving 13 week cash forecast
• Assisted in the implementation of currency forecasting and hedging model to capture foreign currency exposure globally. This forecast is presented to the Currency Board on a monthly basis and is used to make strategic foreign currency decisions.
• Created and built the interest forecast model to enable the company to understand their interest expense in the current financial environment and leverage different borrowing lines and interest rates globally.

• Responsibilities and Duties Overview:
• Preparation, evaluation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and yearly Management reports on a tight deadline to Corporate Head Office in Wisconsin USA.
• Timely and accurate processing of Fringe Benefit Tax, ensuring all statutory obligations are met and all record keeping requirements up to date and tax compliance is met for both Australia and New Zealand.
• Preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS reporting requirements for both Australia and New Zealand.
• Preparation and liaison with external Tax Accountants to ensure company income tax returns were prepared and lodged on time for both Australia and New Zealand.
• Provide excellent support to both APAC Group and Treasury Group in USA, delivering cash flow and financial forecasts throughout the month, ensuring treasury controls are followed and cash flow monitored to ensure sufficient funds were in bank accounts at all times.
• Key Achievements:
• Leveraging of previous implementation experiences successfully introduce paperless Accounts Payable across Wholesale and Retail business increasing efficiency and enabling greater control and process within the Retail business.
• Received Chief Financial Officer award in both 2018 and 2020 for excellent leadership work ethic and living and working by the Trek values.

• Responsibilities and Duties Overview:
• Preparation, evaluation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and yearly Management reports on a tight deadline to Corporate Head Office in USA.
• Provide timely and accurate accounting information to the Oceanic Group and international reporting requirements to Corporate Head Office.
• Timely and accurate processing of Fringe Benefit Tax, ensuring all statutory obligations are met and all record keeping requirements up to date and tax compliance is met.
• Management of Fixed Asset register for the Oceanic Group with current fixed asset base in hand of $6.7m recording and processing both book and tax accounting for all assets.
• Preparation and processing of foreign currency transactions and revaluation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable on a monthly basis.
• Reduced month-end closing time with efficient organization and prioritization of tasks.
• Managed a team of junior accountants, fostering a supportive work environment that encouraged growth and skill development.
• Key Achievements:
• In consultation with Regional Controller and external Tax Accountants ensured that tax returns for both companies were lodged on time, meeting all statutory requirements for the Oceanic Group. This involved relying less on external Tax Accountant with majority of work prepared and reviewed in house with only the final review provided by external Tax Accountant.

• Responsibilities and Duties Overview:
• Preparation, evaluation and presentation of monthly and year end Management reports for Directors.
• Provide timely and accurate information to Project Managers and Principals to assist in efficient and effective project management, including time invoicing and capturing all associated project related costs.
• Ensure all project assets and costs are managed and maintained accurate for both Project Management and Accounting departments.
• Direct communication with all customers and suppliers within a variety of fields ranging from Oil and Gas, Mining Council, Developers, Laboratories and Drilling companies.
• Timely processing of fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance is met to Australian standards with all Work Cover, Payroll Tax, Superannuation and other payroll related expenses met as required.
• Management of Accounts Receivable invoices up to $1m and payments to creditors up to $500k.
• Key Achievements:
• Streamlined the process of supplier invoices moving to a paperless procedure which enhanced and increased the efficiency of the Accounts Payable system enabling prompt approval, recording and payment of invoices.
• Researched and developed proposal to implement new project management system for the organisation which is currently with CEO and Directors for approval.
