Andrea Tamez

Hello, my name is Andrea Tamez and I have been a partner with HEB since 2016. I got hired at SA 23 in Service as a part time Cashier and shortly after I was cross trained in different departments such as Cosmetics, Drugstore/GM and Floral. I worked at SA 23 for 2 years, and then an opportunity came up and I transfer to my current store SA 17. I began helping Cosmetics and in a expand of 6 months I transfer fully into the department. I been a Beauty Lead since 2021.

My short-term goal with HEB is to apply for SORM Beauty and get accepted into the program. Long-term goal with HEB will be to succesfully finish the program, start working in stores and develop partners as I am making my store rotations. I will also like to become an IST in Beauty.

A little about me: I moved to San Antonio about 10 years ago to pursue a higher education in Biology but ended up years later getting a AAS in Cosmetology-Esthetician instead. I am the third of four kids, and dog mom of two beautiful senior girls. I been to Hawai'i twice so traveling is one of my favorite-expensive hobbies but a road trip to Austin will do. I love going to concerts, support local artists mostly, and most recently been into baking desserts and venturing into homemade sourdoug.
