Summary

To obtain fulfilling employment related to excellent nursing care.

My name is Andrea Thompson. In May of 2017, I completed the required courses to earn my associate degree in nursing. In March 2019, I completed my BSN program graduating with honors. I completed coursework and earned an MSN in November 2020. In February 2022 I was accepted and began course work toward a doctorate in Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University, expected completion date of November 2024. It has been an honor and privilege to teach the next generation of nurses. I want my experiences to be an encouragement to the younger generation to pursue their goals. As a middle-aged adult, I completed my degree a little later in life. I have juggled working, school, and child-rearing. With proper planning and time management goals can be attainable. I know with God and a strong support system I can achieve any goal. Aside from my professional goals, it is very important for me to be able to give back to the community. God has blessed me richly and participating in events geared to members of my community gives me great joy. Helping others in turn helps me.
