I lead community outreach efforts in Denver, CO, for the Tree Planting Initiative with the Hispanic Access Foundation. As part of the planting team, I connect with Hispanic families to inform them about the program’s benefits and help them sign up to receive free trees for their homes. My role includes:

• Educating families on the environmental and economic benefits of tree planting.
• Coordinating with the planting team to ensure successful tree delivery and planting.
• Serving as a bridge between the foundation and the community to foster trust and engagement.

• Coordinated a public event to engage the Hispanic community of Denver, CO, in water conservation efforts.
• Partnered with members of the Hispanic Access Foundation, including Vanessa Muñoz, Evelyn Ramírez, and Juan Rosas, to organize an educational and recreational trip to the Colorado River.
• Organized transportation, food, and registration to ensure a seamless event experience for all participants.
• Empowered participants by providing resources and activities focused on conservation awareness and sustainable recreational use of natural spaces.

I collaborated with the Hispanic Access Foundation during Latino Conservation Week 2024, where I was hired to engage the Latino community in Denver, CO, and organize educational events focused on ecological conservation. From September to November, I coordinated four community events, each highlighting a unique aspect of conservation, including:

• Partnering with our local insect zoo to teach about insect conservation.
• Working with a local Park Ranger to emphasize the importance of tree conservation.
• Leading a mountain trash clean-up to promote environmental stewardship.
• Organizing a guided hiking event to teach our community how to practice responsible ecotourism.

• Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to the children.
• Communicated with parents regarding children's progress and development, raising any issues.
• Assisted with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands.
• Transported children to and from activities using personal or family vehicle.
• Bathed, dressed, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation.
• Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.
• Led indoor and outdoor activities to entertain and occupy children.

• Greeted customers warmly upon arrival and provided friendly and warm presence throughout dining experience.
• Took reservations and to-go orders by phone, answered customer questions, and informed of accurate wait times.
• Answered customer questions about hours, seating, and menu information.
• Supported servers and bussers with keeping dining area ready for every guest.
• Cross-trained to handle different restaurant roles, including bar, kitchen and to-go stations.

• Oversaw daily operations of service team, delegated tasks, and trained new staff.
• Handled customer complaints professionally, resolving issues through diplomatic acknowledgment and commitment to service.
• Kept register accurate through correct billing, payment processing, and cash management practices.
• Maintained thorough menu knowledge to sufficiently answer questions regarding menu item sourcing, ingredients and cooking methods.
