Managing livestock, their behaviors, care and welfare, including methods to optimize meat quality attributes during processing of swine for food.

Unloading, tattooing and moving market hogs to livestock pens; moving market hogs; moving stressed pigs; operating a captive bolt gun; periodically operating a skid steer loader; and related sanitation activities to maintain swine health.

• Assisting with all aspects of the department from weaning to finishing, performing daily barn duties and keeping its records updated and accurate
• Monitoring the nutrition, vaccination and health evaluation of the animals to assist with individual and group treatments in a timely manner
• Human handling of nonambulatory animals and euthanizing when needed to guarantee high standard of quality of finishing animals and its transportation for further processing.

• Ensure the human handling and animal welfare of animals in the farm through development of best practices of livestock handling, feeding, housing and animal disease control practices
• Identify health problems and deceases, perform routine vaccinations and ensure that all the protocol's are followed to prevent the spread of deceases
• Evaluate animal´s environmental and movement conditions to keep animals safe and healthy
• Implement the best practices to ensure meet all the standard and regulations.
