-Updating/keeping track of drivers/owner operators and upcoming customer/broker freight daily. General spreadsheet work via Google Sheets for various types of data entry. Customer service & maintaining a good relationship with customers, brokers, & owner operators for further growth opportunities. Build & keep rapport with new and/or existing customers, brokers, drivers, & owner operators.
-Answering the phone and handling requests or answering questions for drivers, owner operators, brokers, and customers.
-Ensure smooth process of pick up and delivery/assist drivers encountering possible hurdles at pick up or delivery locations/facilities.
-Ensure all documentation/certificates/safety requirements of customer or broker's freight being hauled are up to par eg. Authority, Insurance, W9, required contracts etc.
-Ensure a positive customer service experience with any party involved with the company I represent.
-Work with enthusiasm and apply good teamwork skills such as communication, active listening, conflict resolution, time management, reliability etc.
-Ensure all maintenance/paperwork is up to date and within compliance of DOT regulations
-Processing payments to drivers/employees
-Invoicing vendors/customers/shippers
-Assigning and handling all commodities properly to the correct required equipment.
-Experience with multiple types and sizes of commodities & equipment from dry, refrigerated, oversize, hazmat/tanker, etc. to sprinters, box trucks, 53' semis, flatbed/step decks, conestogas, etc.
