Responsible for implementing and managing processes, coordinating and providing support, for broadcast traffic related to the company’s programming distribution.

Key Accomplishments

• Act as a conduit between all applicable departments and broadcast operations to ensure a successful on-air execution of promotion and advertising content.
• Manage broadcast logs and generate reports of broadcast traffic, including daily reconciliation and ratings information, to highlight trends and identify risks and opportunities.
• Grow and foster relationships with existing and potential clients by strategizing on the best delivery of campaigns.
• Assess ongoing systems, operational and servicing needs of broadcast traffic to maintain industry service standards.
• File contracts, reports, invoices, and other important station documents.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Programming department in a team-oriented environment.

Coordinated directly with Account Executives, production departments, advertising agencies, and commercial providers to ensure all instructions and spots are received, inputted, and aired correctly for each advertiser; served as a backup to the station Traffic Manager.

Key Accomplishments

• Supervised staff writers and edits material to ensure conformance with company policy, laws, and regulations.
• Accurately input agency traffic instructions for our advertisers into database; instructions which included complex copy splits, blackouts, and copy revisions.
