I am currently employed with Nova compression. I am assigned 17 3500 series engines. My duties consisted of taking call outs and performing both scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance. Some of my duties consisted of performing PM, ordering parts, changing valves, alignments, troubleshooting electrical issues, rebuilding front gear train of 3500, replacing belt sheaves, working with Ariel performance software and Gerp to load units up to 80% for better reliability. Checking lube rates to prevent unnecessary capital loss. Trouble shooting electric motors and drives. Checking and verifying HZ demand to actual HZ. Trouble shooting drive over heating issues, maintaining customer relationships. Assist all areas with technical support when needed.
I was formally employed by CSI Compressco out of Orla, TX contracted to ConocoPhillips. Some of of my responsibilities consists of taking care of 65,000 horsepower of compression. It was my responsibility for the up keep and reliability of each and every compressor. This includes the maintenance on electrical components, controls systems like 4 to 20ma, control panel issues, relay control, dump systems, thermocouple issues, cat A3 and A4 systems, ignition systems, charging systems, 3 phase hot start system on 3600 packages, rebuilding kimray valves, replacing and troubleshooting scrubber high level kills, trouble shooting NO/NC shutdown systems, replace valves, rolling bearings, replacing pressure packing, verifying emission level with a analyzer, changing head and liner packs.
During my employment with Archrock I had muiltipul rolls. Majority of my time I spent taking care of contract compression rental units. All my rental units consisted of high speed units. Some of the equipment consisted of Waukesha 9390, 5794,7044,f18,CATerpillar 3500, 3600,3300, CG, Ariel frames, Gemini frames, A3,A4, Dynamic panels, murphy panels, ttd, Altronic de3000, wauskesha ESM.
While working at Cals ac and electrical I would troubleshoot residential ac and heating systems. Testing and replacing compressors, capacitors, transformers, contactor's, relays, cleaning evaporators and condensers was a normal day. I also would install ac and heat system for new applications. Note: Work for Cals while off hitch with Archrock.
At Cameron Compression I traveled throughout the United States over hauling, and repairing slow speed reciprocating compressor units.
During my time with Sos staffing I was mainly contracted to Cameron Compression as a part time mechanic. While working at SOS Staffing I would assist other mechanics with the over haul of slow speed compressor units
