I spent many years at Lithia Reno Subaru, Starting my career there as a lube technician then moving to a service advisor and quickly learning, service writing is not for me then made the move into the parts department where I truly felt at home at a job. 98% of my career in the parts department I was stationed at the back counter providing parts the technicians, I did that roughly for 6-7 years with Lithia and I truly loved it. I had an extremely good mentor (Robert Dowd) who taught me how to run a very smooth and efficient back counter so the parts department is NEVER the reason service gets held up. He was very critical on that topic. I ultimately left Lithia in 2020 due to a very generous offer from Michael Hohl motor company.
