  • Managed and coached VBA 17u Black this past summer in 2024. Finished as the #9 ranked team in the nation and #1 in the state of Alabama. Finished with a record of 26-7. Off our 21 man roster, all 21 are playing baseball at the next level.
  • In this past July's MLB Draft, 2 former players Drew Beam (3rd round) and AJ Causey (5th round) were drafted by the Kansas City Royals. They are the 1st and 2nd of my former players that have been drafted into professional baseball. Started coaching them at 12u and had them until they were 18u.
  • Managed and coached VBA Black 16u in 2023. Team finished 22-9-1 on the summer. Finished the summer ranked as the #63 team in the nation and the #1 team in the state of Alabama. There are currently 3 players committed to SEC schools on that roster (2 to Auburn and 1 to Alabama).
  • Finished in the top 32 at PG WWBA (468 teams). Finished in the top 32 at PG National Elite. Made 2 Semi-Final appearances and had one tournament Runner-Up at PBR Southeast Select.
  • Prior to 2023, coached the 2021 grad class. That group had a mixture of SEC, Mid-Major, D2 and JUCO talented players from throughout the state of Alabama and Tennessee.
  • 2021 Elite 8 appearance at PG 18U WWBA.
  • 2020 Sweet 16 appearance at PG 17U WWBA.
  • 2015 Final Four appearance at Cooperstown Dreams Park (104 teams).
  • Other duties at VBA include; social media content, working with players on player development, roster control, recruiting.

  • Injured during Spring Training in 2015 UCL tear in right elbow which lead to me retiring.
