I am applying for an entry-level wind turbine technician position. I am currently in the second semester of a wind turbine program at NMCC in Presque Isle, Maine. In this program, we have covered general maintenance, gearbox, drives, hydraulics, power generation, power transmission, electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, schematics, and wiring diagrams, along with the functions of motors, controls, and PLC systems.
Understanding safety PPE, along with rescue equipment, and general first aid.
I have enjoyed the program here at NMCC very much, and I am looking forward to a new career in the wind power industry.
