At the town of vernon public works department i started as a general duty's refuse and recycling laborer. I upgraded to a truck driver position when I got my class A CDL license, did that for a few years then upgraded to Heavy equipment operator. I currently work at Town of Vernon WPC and have been here for 1.5 years. I have my Wastewater class 1 and passed my Wastewater class 2 on 1/2/2024. Currently working as a Wastewater class 2 OIT.

• Knowledge of how to work on trucks and heavy equipment
• Use of hand tools (demo saws, chain saws,leaf blowers, shovels,rakes)
• Operating heavy equipment paving, digging around Buried utilities and installing drainage, grading, compacting. There is a wide range of equipment i am fluent with.
• Operating and inspecting treatment plant equipment safely, monitor gauges, meters, pumps, motors, gates both motorized and manual crank, valve operating and exercise both manual and crank, electrical knowledge,some hach wims (new to me) but learning it. collecting samples of sludge, influent, effluent,D.O readings, operation of trojan disinfection uv system, Rotating Drum Thickener, fluent with SCADA and rotating equipment monthly (pumps, grit system, dumping out screenings bins,loading trucks with sludge, taking down/hosing down tanks with plant water.

Drove rear loader and sidearm trash trucks as well as roll-off also manually lifted trash off the back of the trash truck as a "slinger"
