I work under the direction of a Maintenance Foreman to inspect,repair,calibrate,and install electrical instrumentation. I inspect and test electronic components and circuits to detect defects in Water valve solenoids, Polymer Dilution air valve solenoids, VFD's,ALLEN BRADLEY I/O cards,PLC's,Panel Views using Studio 5000 to talk to PLCs using a IP addresse,Emerson Ovation logics controller and Limitorque valve operator control boards. Test faulty equipment to diagnose the cause of the malfunctioning part or parts using Fluke Multimeter and Fluke Processmeter that is equipped with producing a 4-20ma signal or using a Precision Digital 4-20ma or a 0-10 VDC signal generator. Repair electrical equipment such as PLCs,control consoles,electrical monitors,and meters according to blueprints,and manufacturing specifications. Replace defective electrical components and electrical wiring and adjust mechanical parts. Aligns adjust and calibrates electrical equipment according to specifications to assure that electrical equipment functions properly. Enters records of repairs,calibrations,and tests in maintenance files.
