I started with DSI as a material handler. Performing a wide variety of tasks such as, meticulous metal work with a grinder, operating machinery such as, over head cranes and the proper rigging of pipe fabrications that coincides with the cranes, Operating forklifts, sky tracks, Loading and strapping trailers to industry standards. Then I was promoted to a pipe fitter, which entails reading blueprints and fabricating pipe systems within 1/16 of an inch, working with a 2 man team in a production style environment. From their I passed my welding certification test and am currently arc (stick) welding pipe fabrications to ASME standards at a fast passed production rate, with fabs going out to a variety of job sites including but not limited to, space X and Microsoft.

I started at H&T as a chainsaw hand. This company provided a wide variety of services to landowners as well as investors in the greater central tx area. I proved my worth, and my work ethic as well as ability to solve problems on the chainsaw crew, and was the only hand on the crew left after a big lay off. As work slowed down. Given my ranching experience throughout my childhood, the owner of the company simply moved me to his personal ranch in Martindale TX. There, I preformed everyday ranching chores such as deadfall cleanup, shredding with a skid steer, and looking after cattle. As work picked back up for his company I started moving around. I hauled heavy equipment to and from job sites, became a saw crew lead, and operated heavy equipment clearing brush, grading ranch roads, and digging ponds.
