Leadership Experience

  • Model United Nations, President, August 2021-May 2022, Revitalized the club after COVID left it without any members or participants. Effectively led and taught a group of around 12 freshmen with no prior experience how to effectively succeed at levels ranging from local to national conferences.
  • Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout, I organized and contracted a complex, multi-faceted service project. I developed life skills and strategies such as trustworthiness, loyalty, and thriftiness.
  • University of Detroit Jesuit Fall Play, Lead Role, Freshman, Senior, I was the only freshman of around 30 students to receive a role in my first play. As a result, I had to learn to network with unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar environment. Throughout the rest of my high school career, I continued to get lead roles in different shows. These plays were extensive time commitments, and I had to build up self-confidence not only in myself, but also in my abilities and strengths.
  • Mackinac Island Governor's Honor Guard, Staff, August 2022, One-week program over the summer in which I assisted in raising and lowering flags on Mackinac Island each morning and night. Additionally, I served as a tour guide for the different sites around the island.

Volunteer Experience

  • The University of Michigan Habitat For Humanity, Ann Arbor, MI, Volunteer, September 2023-Present. Assisted in the building of affordable housing for low-income families. Worked as a member of a team in a variety of tasks which ranged from landscaping to home-improvement projects.
  • DMC Sinai Grace Hospital, Detroit, MI, Volunteer, September 2021-April 2022, I actively assisted with the care of sick or physically hindered patients. Worked at the front desk, facilitating efficiency and speed, directing visitors and patients to their desired destinations. Shadowed medical professionals as they completed complex medical tasks and operations.
