Driving to and from job sites hauling construction materials. Asphalt, Concrete, Road Base, Gravel, Etc. Specialized Gravel and some Landscape Boulders
This is a concrete Sidewalk and curb and gutter company. I drove the End Dump to get what they needed like Gravel,Road Base , Asphalt and Sand.
I didn't stay long it was the first year that my youngest daughter came to live with me and we were trying to figure out how we were going to make everything work put with us. She was 6 years old at that time.
This was something i would do in the winter time after a seasonal lay off. I drove for them a few different times.
Estes, Freight doing short deliveries, Hazmat to and from businesses.
Wilson Logistics, doing deliveries to busyness in northern utah.
Huish Soap products, moving trailers around at the big warehouse to get unloaded or loaded, Hosier
I loved this job! Driving a Transfer Truck and Pup hauling Asphalt backing into the paver to pave the roads. i also went up into Kennecott and was learning to drive an articulate truck. i had lots of mine MSHA training with Granite!
I started out as a Dump Truck driver and Transport Driver, moving their big machines with a tilt deck trailer. In the dump Truck i would haul construction products from the pit to the job sites and do haul off from the job sites.
They put me in the End Dump Tractor Trailer set up and i would haul landscape Boulders in it plus the usual construction products. I became the lead driver and then the only driver, the reason i left this company is because they down sized from 7 men to 2 men. i had a chance to get into a track hoe and start digging fulltime but they could only pay me 40 hours a week and i was used to working 50-60, i needed the money to pay my bills
I just want to add the experience with this company, plus its some of the stuff i would do when Timberline would slow down for winter. Using Hazmat to haul Hazardous materials like Drip Gas from the Pipeline Batteries to the Refinery.
I've hauled some Crude oil before as well. Tanker Tractor/Trailer with pup.
