
I am an extremely self motivated and hard worker who loves to be challenged by the job and who works well with all types of people making me an excellent team member. I process a variety of marketable skills especially in regards to interpersonal relationships. I am always striving to do my very best and take seriously the opportunities and responsibilities I am given.
My daily responsibilities for this position are:
Attending all cases in OR, URO, Endo, Same day Surgery and ENT in which Olympus products were being used by physicians,
Trouble shooting any issues that arose regarding Olympus products
Running repairs and acquiring loaners for scopes that were broken for the various departments I cover
Checking in with the heads of the departments within Queen's network that I cover, i.e, OR, SDS, ENT, Endoscopy, Head and Neck, SPD, and Urology
In conjunction with these daily tasks I also assisted the sales team members in a variety of ways. I was able to act as boots on the ground and I developed relationships with the various purchasers and physicians who used our products and provided leads to the sales team when I was informed or found out about a need at the facility. I developed a relationship with the nursing staff and techs in the various departments which aided the sales team in introducing new products and maintaining our presence in the facility. As well, when RVP's and other Olympus team members would come from off island to visit Queen's I would act as a liaison for these team members, facilitating import meetings and introducing them to the right people within the site.
As Sous Chef I was the right hand man for the Executive Chef at the restaurant. My responsibilities included personnel management, performing under high stress situations, customer relations and sales, product quality control, marketing and new product creation and procurement. I ran a crew of 11 employees in an extremely high pressure and intense environment and was expected to and kept order in the kitchen while service was happening. As well I was in charge of producing specials each night and marketing them to the customers who came into the restaurant.
In this job I was in charge of the Senate chambers and Senate staff for the Alaska State Senate when session was in order. I was responsible for maintaining security and decorum for both the staff and the Senators when session was happening as well as expected to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and courtesy towards the members and public. I was also in charge of procurement for the Senate staff and chambers.
In this role I worked at the membership sales desk at Costco assisting members in product returns as well as selling new memberships and credit cards. During my time in this role I was consistently the top Executive membership salesman in the Northwest Region of the company.
