Duties Include:

• Maintain daily operations and maintenance of the Water Department, approximately 1900 connections.
• Recording and monitoring of water loss and purchasing of water.
• Direct contact with ADEM to insure compliance of regulations and completion of sanitary surveys.
• Proficient in CNI billing software.
• Implementing tank maintenance schedules, cleaning and rehab
• Perform locates of system components in conjunction with Alabama 811.
• Monthly meeting with Board Members to review operations, maintenance, and planning of upcoming projects.
• Locate leaks and repair main water lines, installing new mains, set meters for new customers.
• Initiated and maintain GIS mapping of water system to include valves, water lines and current meters,using Diamond Maps software.
• Review and monitor monthly AMI meter reading usages and meter reports.
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies for maintenance.
• Coordinate with other utility providers about new installations to avoid ROW conflicts and safe distances from existing utilities.
• Taking monthly and quarterly samples that include: Bacteriological, Disinfection Byproducts
• Lead and Copper Samples (every 3 yrs)
• Taking care of customer complaints and questions in relation to meters reading, water quality and previous-future excavations.
• 19+ years operating Backhoe, Mini Excavator, Trencher, Skid steer and Dump truck, Repair and Maintain Equipment

Duties included;

• Assisting Customers, receipts and charge accounts, inventory and loading supplies. Blended fertilizer according to soil sample results. Calibrated Spray and Spreader truck equipment. Operated spreader truck (26kGVW), tender truck (42KGVW), Articulating loader and skid steer. Repaired and Maintained equipment
