  • · Serve as the first contact and primary connection for Veterans and community partners for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program for housing stabilization.
  • · Take calls from, meet with, and assist military Veterans who are living in uninhabitable situations, engage in crisis intervention strategies, and refer to other community partners as needed.
  • · Track and manage all contact with potential and current clients, assist in completing SSVF program intake forms, explain program services to Veterans and their families in a trauma-informed manner, and enroll eligible applicants in the SSVF program.
  • · Build and maintain relationships and network with city, county, and federal agencies and other non-government organizations, to locate and assess low-income Veterans and their families for the SSVF program.
  • · Use the Lane County Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to monitor the Veteran By-Name List (VBLN) and complete Front Door Assessments on all eligible people to place them onto the Lane County Centralized Wait List (CWL).
  • · Gather, sort, prepare, and check documentation in files for accuracy and completeness according to program policies, and enter data into tracking systems in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Successfully enrolled over 300 Veteran families into the SSVF program.

  • -Assisted in the management and daily operations of the Joint Operations Center.
  • -Performed a wide variety of administrative services such as preparing forms, reports, statistical material, charts, etc., by using a variety of automated systems in the office environment to store/retrieve/manipulate data with word processing, database management, spreadsheet, and graphics software packages.
  • -Performed various tasks, such as activating the Joint Operations Center to full-scale operations, exchanging information with other emergency response agencies, coordinating data collection and reporting, coordinating with field personnel, preparing briefings and situation reports, personnel reports, logistics reports, etc.
  • -Oversaw training for all Joint Operations Center employees and maintained mandatory state and federal training records for over Joint Operations Center enlisted and commissioned personnel.
  • -Established and maintained cooperative working relationships and communication with federal, state, and public agencies and 5 Army brigades and 3 Air wings within the state and obtained and/or exchanged information pertinent to emergency support plans and activities of mutual interest or major concern.
  • -Tracked all Washington National Guard joint operations during exercises and real-world emergencies, and evaluated, analyzed, and disseminated information of interest to the state leadership, The Adjutant General and his senior staff.
  • Successfully conducted over 15 State Active Duty and 2 federal mobilizations, mobilizing over 10,000 personnel and associated equipment.

  • -Tracked the execution of current operations supporting five army companies in accordance with established and emerging Standard Operating Procedures.
  • -Created training events and ensured all tasks were executed in accordance with published orders and military regulations.
  • -Provided timely reports of the status of all training and other current operations to the battalion leadership for situational awareness.
  • -Additional duties include Building Manager, Fire Prevention Coordinator, Battalion Safety Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, and Adaptive Sports Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge.
