Write grants to receive state and federal funding for equipment. General maintenance and repair of all equipment. Periodic inspections of every home to eliminate fire hazards, and install protective measures. Monthly state of Alaska ANFIRS reporting in order to maintain registration status.
- Search and Rescue Coordinator:
- Establish and lead the community search and rescue team. Train crew in accordance with MATSAR practices. Lead a successful multi-day SAR mission, finding an individual before harm had come to them.
- Emergency Trauma Technician:
- Establish and lead the community ETT squad. Brought in ETT trainer to certify all members of the squad. Lead bimonthly training refreshers. Trained and certified at least one member of every household in opioid overdose response
and use of NARCAN.
