I graduated from Burchell High School in 2023 as the class president of the senior grade. During my time in school I was on the student council. There I learned how to take issues from the student body to the student council to solve the issues that have been brought up. After school ended I worked at Alaska Gear Company for 3 months and there I learned how to complete orders and ship them out along with stocking different parts and making wheels.
I also decided to go on a 2 year mission for my church and while I was on my mission I learned many lessons. One of the most important lessons is to have good time management skills and to be self driven to accomplish work. I also learned how to get along with a lot of different people. There was 2 guys that were really hard on me but I learned how to be a better missionary but better person from the lessons they taught me.
During a 12 week period I was a District Leader and I was responsible for the welfare of 4 other missionaries. If there was a problem they could come to me and I could try and help them through it. I was also responsible for planning and preparing for a weekly meeting. I gave trainings to help them become better missionaries and to inspire them to think of different ways to do missionary work in they're different areas.
I helped people build their faith in Jesus Christ through the restored gospel and by service. I served in many areas and I did service in food banks and soup kitchens, I helped different families move, and I helped clean up tornado damage. I was also a leader over some other missionaries and I learned some leadership skills from that.
I helped out in the shipping department with completing and sending out online orders, I was also responsible for stocking parts, building parts, and general maintenance.
I was responsible for general ground maintenance at the direction of the manager. I learned how to clear a sand blasting area from the sand from different projects.
