Initially hired to be the main delivery driver, eventually transitioned to working full time in the warehouse.

-Check delivery schedule every day, pull and load orders onto my truck.

-Route my stops, keeping in mind any time-window requests made by the customer.

-Carry all product inside residence.

-Pick up product from vendors and run other various errands for the store.

-When not on the road, worked in the warehouse alongside the other warehouse associates.

-Unloaded product and LTL trucks to ensure timely inventory replenishment

-Pull & load customer orders

-Break down mixed pallets and separate orders to their own pallet.

-Ensure the warehouse floor is always clean and organized for additional inbound product.

Spent the first 2 years as an assistant department manager, first for the building materials department, then transitioned to the Deco Department.

-Responsible for overall upkeep and wellbeing of each department: making sure all day to day tasks were complete, aisles cleaned, product stocked neatly. Also trained any new employees to the department, getting them onboarded and familiar with their duties and responsibilities.

-Customer Service: greet every customer that walked through my department, help them write up orders and send to the warehouse for picking, answer any questions they have regarding both product and installation.

-First call for initial customer issues before anything would need to be escalated to a subordinate.

-Counted and balanced drawers some nights, scanned any checks, entered all information into the banking site.

-Verified accuracy of all top stock product and their locations in the system.

-Work out new products.

-Resets: Move products around and find everything a home.

-Display building.

Eventually transitioned to the Warehouse Supervisor role where I was in charge of the large warehouse where all customer orders were pulled to and stored until pickup.

-Ensure all orders received were pulled in a timely manner and palletized safely.

-Daily audits to ensure accuracy on all orders.

-Monthly audits to ensure all orders present in the system matched what was either physically pulled in the warehouse, or orders on hold had incoming product, or notes as to any backorders or hold-ups.

-Drove forklift/reach truck to pull or load customer orders.

-Handle all store-to-store transfer requests (inbound & outbound).

-Train all new warehouse associates.

Moved to the secondary Indianapolis Store and took the Receiving Supervisor role until the end of my tenure with Floor & Decor.

-Key holder; had to be present and on time at 4am every day to let all other early morning employees into the building and turn off alarm system.

-Responsible for all inbound trucks, making sure those are scheduled and unloaded efficiently on delivery day, as well as verifying the product received.

-Stocked received product on the sales floor.

-Daily "lows & outs": sales associates would scan in product that was either low shelf stock, or completely out, and replace with full pallets.

-Pull and load customer orders until the warehouse team came in for their shifts when the store opened for the day.

-Daily and monthly audits to ensure accuracy of all orders in the warehouse.

Assisted customers in Lumber Yard before transitioning to Flooring Department, providing product knowledge and support

-Responsible for keeping materials and shelves stocked and in presentable order.

-Load customer vehicles, whether by hand or with a forklift/reach truck.

-Once transitioned to the flooring department, scheduled residential measurements for flooring installations, as well as sell jobs when salespersons weren't present.
