- Baseline delivery lead for 3 different programs simultaneously geared towards development of advanced capability for the Aegis Combat System SPY1D radar
- Interfaced directly with technical directors, program managers, customers (Missile Defense Agency), and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software fixes into builds containing brand-new development.
- Led, oversaw, and orchestrated a team of 18 engineers comprising integration and test engineers, deputy baseline delivery leads, product owners, and scrum masters.
- Worked with Integrated Weapon Systems/Missile Defense Agency customers to drive critical issue investigations to adjudication, as well as determine go-paths for software correction implementation.
- Supported Senior Change Control Board meetings, where proposed fixes were presented to Naval Fleet Captains and other stakeholders for determination of inclusion into subsequent software builds.
- Coordinated and organized test objectives, test locations, test times, and weekly schedules for engineers to follow to ensure the completion of critical software performance verification milestones.
- Delegated problems for investigation based on team members’ strengths and available resources. Helped organize internal JIRA board for proper tasking towards engineers
- Aided in investigating and creating recommendations/presentations for the customer and stakeholders to make informed decisions on how to pursue correcting certain software issues
- Coordinated with separate internal teams to ensure tasks were being properly assigned and driven to closure, while offering them any help or resources needed to remove blockers.
- Worked with Control Accounts Managers (CAMs) and finance teams to carve out Estimated Times of Completion (ETCs), budget, and number of Full-Time Employees (FTEs) based on work packages and scope for the overall build.
- Conducted assessments at the end of each build cycle to inform program managers, chief engineers, and directors of the overall statuses of software implementation/testing, and confidence in the delivery of said software to meet milestones.
- Proactively constructed status charts, S-curves, and tables to outline perceived risks that could cause missed software delivery milestones, and suggestions to mitigate said risks.
