Prior Project Management and estimating experience, also very proficient in running jobs. Experience has been in residential, architectural, commercial, and industrial applications. Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials according to blueprints, drawings, with written and verbal instructions. Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material according to drawings, templates using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and measuring devices. Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, and rivets, metal drive cleats to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items. Install assemblies such as ductwork, heating and air-conditioning equipment with supportive requirements. Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction or assembly of sheet metal products. Fabricate or alter construction sites using shears, hammers punches or drills. Select gages or types of sheet metal or nonmetallic material according to product specifications. Maneuver completed units into position for installation and anchor the units. Transport prefabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation. Using overhead cranes, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts and assist with helicopter lifts. Tools used in the process are various hand tools, press breaks, shears, rollers, lock formers, beader, welders, iron workers, saws, and multiple notch machines. Fabricate from CAD shop drawings a variety of structural and sheet metal products using standard shop practices.
