- Continuing to grow in the mining family. I have worked in reclamation where i learned to run equipment such as scrapers, loaders, dozers, skid steer, backhoes, and other equipment. i also worked in the leaching department in tyrone and chino. where i started learning from the basics of flushing leach pads to pulling in manifolds for wobbler pads to drip line pads. as well as learning how to fuse hdpe pine from 3" to 30 ". As well as learning how to install wobbler pads and remove pads for over dump and the mapping of new pad layouts for new lifts on a dump. and the process of putting in and removing feed lines for the manifolds on a stockpile. bolt ups on 3 inch all the way up to 30 inch hdpe pipe flanges . while in tyrone i took a McElroy fusing class on how to use a data logger. i also have taken two atv safety classes. i am currently working in the hydromet department as a operator where my duties include off sites the checking of pumps and pond levels looking for leaks and making sure all pumps are running correctly with no vibration or seal leaks. recovery where i watch the circuit gunk pumpers and the recovery and process of organic. and the control room where i monitor the sx operation from computer screens and cameras to insure all pumps are running and levels are maintained as well as running samples for necessary adjustments on flows or rectifiers to produce the best quality copper. this year i have also took on the role of fill in supervisor expanding my knowledge and future growth with the company.
