Managed care for some of the most critical and complicated patient's in the hospital. I received advanced training in neuro, trauma and cardiovascular specialties. While working in the ICU I became Co-chair of the Code Blue Committee and was awarded Nurse of the Year in 2024.

Perform quality bed side care for medical and surgical patients. Responsibilities included assessing patients, administering medications, and documenting patient care.

Nurse Extern included all of the same responsibilities as being a Patient Care Technician but also included calling consults, completing admissions and discharges of patients, and charting under a nurses supervision.

Provide basic care for patients including: monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe environment.

Provided one on one observation of patients who required constant supervision.
