Summary

I have served with the DOC in two different states, and I am DPSST certified in Oregon. I have been doing this job proudly for two and going into three years. I have worked in maximum, medium, and low security facilities, gaining broad knowledge on the mindset and physical behavior of inmates. I have worked in special operations during my time as a member of the tactical squad with the GDC, dealing with Riot control and institution-wide shakedowns on a statewide mission, assisting all the facilities in Georgia with contraband control and low staffing emergencies. I have also been on the correctional emergency response team (CERT) with the GDC at Smith State Prison, where I performed controlled inmate movement, facility riot control, cell extractions, and emergency first aid medical treatment.
