- Provide one-on-one support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Speech-Language Impairment (SLI), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
- Implement behavior intervention strategies, including redirection, prompting, fading, choice-making, and reinforcement.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data using ABC Charts and Behavior Frequency Data Sheets to guide interventions and monitor progress.
- Support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to meet student goals and promote growth.
- Manage challenging behaviors, including elopement, physical aggression, and verbal aggression, through proactive strategies and crisis intervention.
- Utilize visual supports such as Token Boards, First-Then Charts, Feelings Charts, and other visual aids to increase engagement, motivation, and self-regulation.
- Collaborate with teachers, registered behavior technicians (RBTs), and board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to support student success and independence.
- Create an inclusive, structured, and supportive environment that encourages engagement, communication, and skill-building.
