Completed a Pre-apprentice Lineman School, Southeast Lineman training Center (SLTC) were I was able to learn about electrical linework. Since finishing SLTC I have been in the Telecommunication field for over a year now with Mastec on a pole transfer/removal crew in addition to running new Fiber Optic cable. · Working in Bucket truck
· Driving/Operating Digger Derrick for placing and removal of poles
· Climbing wood poles and working off hooks
· Transferring communication lines from old pole to new pole; transfers include straight troughs, dead ends, underground raiser, etc.; transferred both from bucket and on hooks
· Framing poles for pole transfers/new fiber builds
· Stringing new fiber and metal strand on both road side and backyard easements
· Lashing fiber to metal strand
· Tree trimming around the communication lines during transfers or when stringing new fiber
· Reading/interpreting maps
· Running fiber in underground
· Stocking Shelves in a neat orderly fashion
· Operate a walk behind forklift to put up extra product in the back room
· Organizing products to specific location in store for efficient stocking on the sales floor
· Ordering product; order extra for holidays, special occasions, or popular item
· Inventory of product daily
· Setting up displays around the store to help increase sales of a product or because of a popular seasonal item
