Summary

Nuclear machinists mate PO1 in the United States Navy. Served aboard CVN 71 from April 17- June 21. Qualified chief machinery operator, N25S NEC. Qualified QA 301, 302, 303, and 305 as well as up to 3M 308. Acted as my division’s work center supervisor, supervising and coordinating both corrective and preventative maintenance for my division through two scheduled PIAs. Performed duties as drill team member during Dec 20-May 21 deployment training and implementing nuclear watch standers on emergency response procedures. During my shore command I have worked in Shop 38N specializing in nuclear valve repair and other support maintenance to ensure submarine deployment capabilities. I have worked both in a worker and work leader role during my time. I am currently working on my BAS in Nuclear Engineering Technologies with Excelsior University and hope to finish my degree with my GI bill once I separate from the military. I will be leaving the service Jan 2025.
