  • As Director of Operations, led wing's flying support squadron consisting of a diverse set of miliary personnel across both officer and enlisted ranks, flying and ground positions, combining their efforts, providing required support for the Operations Group's combat mission. In charge in Commander's absence. Managed $1.1 million dollar pay budget and wrote performance reports for all squadron personnel. Verified proper qualifications of aircrew and authorizations for all missions flown in accordance with Air Force Instructions.
  • As Weapons and Tactics Flight Commander, taught squadron aircrew to translate all applicable flight skills to the tactical environment, including formation flying, air refueling, electronic warfare considerations, data link, and adherence to special instructions, ensuring survival of aircraft, crew and mission completion regardless of enemy actions.
  • As an Instructor Pilot, ensured squadron aircrew were experts in IFR and VFR flight, emergency procedures, Air Force regulations, and combat mission skillsets. Integrated real world experience into training scenarios. Tracked student progress and wrote student performance reports, ensuring syllabus compliance and recommending changes to higher authorities based on student need. Recommended changes to flight manual procedures based on real world considerations and errors found.
