Food For Thought (my passion and ambiton)

  • I have worked in the catering industry in all establishments therefore I have very good knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry. I am qualified within the catering industry whereby I studied food and beverage at Bradford and Ilkey catering school (the last year of the academic City & Guilds) catering both of French and British cuisine with an Intermediate Hygiene certified whereby I take food safety very seriously.
  • I am dedicated to my team, and give clear concise communication in order to ensure service runs well. I have a back ground experience of working in fast high paced industrial catering Building Society in a brigade of chefs as the Commis Chef, to then promoted as a Chef de partie for Compass Catering.
  • I have always had a desire to see the world so left my Quality Career for a 12 months working visa in Australia (with an additional 6 months extension) working mainly in Sydney whereby I brought back flair and taste to the menu and there was talk in the Refern location that a new Head chef was in town with receiving many compliments.
  • I have always had a passion for the food industry whilst I changed my career I have always been in the for front of the end product (ensuring both presentation and consistency) is to the perfect standard. I deliver both precise and fast meals with attention to detail to ensure the customer is satisfied.
