This was my first ever job; I started it when I was in 8th grade. It consisted of washing dishes and the occasional food prep. This was my first step into the working world.
In this line of work, I learned the value of hard work and getting your hands dirty. I also gained a lot of insight on how a small business operates.
This job was a great experience; it consisted of checking inventory, stocking shelves, and mostly helping customers. This job helped me gain the building blocks to develop skills to conduct myself in a professional manner.
This job consisted of handling customer affairs and complaints, picking up money from registers, and counting money, along with a slew of other things. This job really cemented my ability to talk to people professionally. I don't think I would have the social skills I have today if it weren't for the time I spent with this company.
This job consisted of running a kitchen and everything involved, from ordering supplies to cooking food; I did it all. This job was a great leadership position for me, and it really taught me the importance of staying calm in stressful situations.
