I made this very critical part for my current company that was sent out to Korea due to the difficulties and tolerance that it has, with a wall of less than .200 thick and about 8.5 in on outer dimension and has a middle tip about .200 OD sticking out with full radius at the end. The part has to hold a flatness of less than .005 which no other lathe programmer have not perform on successfully. My current company took them over two years to find someone to make that critical part to print. Even the veteran programmer for over 20 years cannot make it successfully without many scrap parts. However when I started on it , with the right tool and at very low to zero pressure holding the part I was able to successfully create it to blueprint with the least amount of scrap possible and after that it becomes easier as adjustments is needed and learning from my mistakes to make it run more efficiently in the future.
