Summary

Seeking a position working as an itinerant teacher of the Deaf/HH. I have worked as a teacher of the Deaf/HH in Delaware since 1997. Most of those years have been as an itinerant teacher. In those years I have worked with students with a variety of needs. I have also worked with students in a variety of settings from separate specialized schools for students with additional needs to specialized schools for students with behavioral needs. Having worked at Delaware School for the Deaf, I can communicate expressively and receptively in American Sigh Language. I believe my years of working with a variety of students will be beneficial as an itinerant teacher in your district. I am a strong believer that the most important part of my role is building a strong, trusting relationship with my students. With many students, we will be working together for years and they need to know I am a continuous part of their support system.
