Some of my key responsibilities and achievements:

• Managed Zalando's internal Java Observability SDK by providing support, regular updates, and adding features requested by users
• Improved ZMON by decoupling part of the logic into a separate service, which improved robustness and troubleshooting for the system, especially during Cyber Week
• Regularly facilitating Zalando's observability onboarding sessions for new joiners
• Being part of the on-call team in my department

Major German Car Manufacturer (Main website)

Played a role of a full-stack developer, working on the main car-configurator website, both front-, backend and infra. Some of the achievements:

• Improved the test coverage of our backend services by 10% by analyzing our current testing setup and adding the testing strategy to the Definition of Done for different types of features
• Reduced the effort our team was spending on dependency updates by 60%, by proposing and leading the execution of optimizing the usage of our internal libraries
• Mentoring 2 other developers, by helping them to set measurable goals that will bring value to our team and supporting them in reaching their goals
• Delivered some of the key features end-to-end, that will help to increase sales of new and used cars that are in stock

Major European E-Commerce Company (Core payment system)

Played a role of a backend developer, responsible for developing backend services for client's payment system with high load.

• Improved the feature delivery time to production by introducing and leading the execution of the CD best practices in our the team
• Developed a new service that was scaled to support high load for financial transactions on the main website
• Decoupled old monolith into micrioservices that allowed to cut development time by 3 times and improved scalability of the system
