  • Managed the work of all Choices Program employees who create curriculum, including full time Brown staff, external contractors, and History Department graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Ensured that all Choices' curriculum included innovative, university-level scholarship and that met the needs of secondary school educators.
  • Oversaw the preparation of curriculum content for publication in three formats: print, a digital web-based platform, and video. Conducted research, wrote and edited content, and conducted video interviews.
  • Developed annual budgets, provided financial oversight and guidance as it related to programmatic decision making, served as a liaison with human resources, and kept the Faculty Director and the History Department Chair apprised of relevant strategic and operational issues.
  • Represented the Choices Program at Brown University and to the general public.
  • Developed new collaborations with faculty and centers at Brown and for seeking grant funding that supported the work of the Program.
