I started in the tuning department. My job descriptions included adding or subtracting springs to base drives to achieve optimal performance. After 9 months I moved to the centrifugal department. I performed duties of reading and building sub assemblies to prints. Constructing and fabricating new concept tooling. Using machinist measuring tools and equipment. Duties included traveling out of state and to nearby facilities for warranty repair or paid service call on customers equipment. After 4 years I moved to the vibratory feeder bowl department. The bread and butter of the company. There is became proficient in tig welding of stainless steel. My duties are to interpret customer specs on paper and design and prove out a concept to run the part at the customers rate and orientation requirements. I build proprietary feeder concepts to one off machines. Everything is built from scratch mostly without dimensions. I started with two dimensions of how how off the table and how far off the bowl wall. It is up to me to think, prove, engineer, weld and fabricate any and all tooling and precision fit components. I've been at this position for 13 yrs. I travel when available and am amongst the most talented people in my manufacturer community.
