My involvement in the Aftercare School Program, Best Buddies mentoring, and the Biomedical Magnet Program has provided me with a rich tapestry of interrelated experiences that emphasize empathy, collaboration, and critical thinking.

In the Aftercare School Program, I developed strong supervisory and communication skills by assisting elementary students with homework and facilitating their playtime. This role taught me the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive academically and socially.

As a mentor in the Best Buddies program, I deepened my understanding of inclusivity and advocacy. Building meaningful relationships with peers with disabilities allowed me to cultivate compassion and patience, skills that enhance my interactions with diverse groups. Organizing social activities reinforced the value of teamwork and community engagement.

Through the Biomedical Magnet Program, I gained hands-on experience in scientific research and critical analysis. Collaborating on lab projects sharpened my problem-solving abilities and reinforced the significance of effective teamwork, mirroring the collaborative spirit I experienced in both the Aftercare and Best Buddies programs.

Together, these experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set that blends leadership, empathy, and analytical thinking, preparing me for future academic and community challenges.
