Active member of the Port Townsend Elks and East Jefferson Rotary. Committed to enhancing skills through training sessions on de-escalation techniques, use of force, active shooter response, and critical incident management. Played a pivotal role in securing a grant to hire a Mental Health Navigator and implemented a body-worn camera program for accountability and safety. Actively collaborates with law enforcement agencies and criminal justice partners on the Olympic Peninsula to enhance capabilities of the Sheriff's Office.
