Personally In my most recent project I Set up a private network VPC connected to Amazon RDS database where I used ELB to route traffic to EC2 instances. I equally set up Amazon Web Application Firewall to block traffic entering into private subnet and RDS database.

As a team, we worked on a project where we created a highly scalable, secured, huge traffic and low latency infrastructure in an AWS cloud environment . During this project I used IAM services to create users and granted them access to EC2 instances and Access to some data in S3 bucket. Also while working on this project I used Amazon Key management services(KMS) to encrypt sensitive data at rest and some data in transit. Together as a team we used cloud watch to monitor CPU usage, set up alarms and received notifications through SNS.

Moving forward, I worked on a project where I integrated external tools into AWS for automation . For example I used Terraform based- infrastructure as a code to provision EC2 instances and S3 buckets. In the course of this project, I helped the company to save cost by setting up automation to remove -unused EBS, Idle Load balancers, old snapshots and stopped instances. I equally used AWS best practices for trouble shooting and solving problems as required.

I’ve made use of many AWS services while working on projects including Cloud Trail, Guard duty and Amazon inspector . I equally have a mastery of other external tools such as Ansible and Splunk.
