- Contributed to AWS (Amazon Web Services) cost-saving measures to reduce tech debt by identifying redundant logs that detailed the workflow between micro-service calls. The monthly price dropped by around $6 million.
- Collaborated with the AWS team to migrate credentials and store them securely to protect access to applications by third parties.
- Created a Python validation script to check for data inconsistencies between the legacy database DB2 and DynamoDB after the daily batch load, automating the manual process and minimizing human error.
- Proposed an innovative idea for a Post-Certification tool during a department-sponsored hackathon, which garnered our team the first prize and went on to be a future development.
- Refactored the API and the authentication token to return closed accounts in addition to open accounts for private investors, a feature passed on to more than 300 downstream services.
