Hello my name is Angel Carrillo I am 21 years old and I am looking forward to start working for what i have been going to school for. My first 2 jobs where fun but one day I told my self this is not what I want to be doing for the rest of my time being. I got inspired by my uncle in the electrical field, he has been doing electrical work for a while so he knows a lot. A while ago my house was only a 3 bedroom one bath and very small living room and kitchen so my family decided to remodel my house make it even bigger and add a extra bed room and bathroom. My uncle came along to help us and he pretty much remolded our whole house it was really interesting watching him especially when it came to the electrical. Everyday when my uncle would come I would ask him if I can work with him when he would do the electrical so I was kind of his apprentice I would ask him many questions on what he was doing, how dose this work, why would it work, why did it need to be change. I also loved when he would but me to work like run wires to outlets or lights or make holes in the studs or he also showed me how to bend conduit he also showed me how to work on many 3 way switch's and half hot outlet's and gfci. My uncle definitely inspired me that's why I went to UEI college and I learned way more I learned more about the NEC book, ppf, different wire sizes, what tools are used the most, Troubleshooting, Reading Blueprints & Schematics, and very more. One of my favorite class's where Residential, I really liked it because I got really good at it I was able to understand how things worked very well and how to find a fault pretty fast. My instructor was very proud of me because he assigned me a project one day and it took me a while to wire it up but in the end I got it done. My other favorite class was conduit bending, I got the hang of it fast I was able to bend 3 point saddle, 4 point saddle, offset's, back to backs, I was pretty good at it even my instructor was super proud.
