• Oversee the Quality Shipping and Receiving team.
• Help create forms and SOPs to make the procedures easier & faster.
• Receive raw ingredients and packaging materials coming in.
• Inspecting all the materials before being received by warehouse team.
• Pulling retentions for both raw ingredients or packaging materials.
• Making sure team is wearing proper PPE while pulling samples or retentions.
• Ensuring sure all ingredients are meeting specifications based on supplier's
COA.
• All Hold tags and Quarantine tags are update to date and being released in a
timely matter.
• Checking and making sure all counts given by the warehouse team are correct
for any outgoing loads to our distribution center or to other facilities.
• Helping Supply chain with getting information for Supplier Complaints when
ingredients are not meeting specification or packaging materials have foreign
objects within them.
• Ensuring that all labels are being controlled on the floors and labels are getting
returned in a timely matter.
• Destruction of obsolete labels; make sure all labels that are being destroyed are
being accounted for and scheduling pick ups for destruction.
• Assist Quality System team with requesting Kosher and Organic certifications, Safety Data Sheets and Specifications for raw materials and packaging components.
