Patient-oriented Nurse with 7 years of diverse experience in direct patient care, staff supervision and department operations. Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing patient needs and daily assignments. Offering expertise with ED/ICU/Cardiac/Telemetry specialty.
I started my nursing career in ICU at McLeod Dillon, SC and cross trained into the Emergency Department. After having my daughter I went from full time at that facility to PRN to accommodate my families needs. I then picked up shifts at McLeod Carolina forest, Loris and Seacoast and enjoyed working ED/ICU at those facilities. During COVID I took a Crisis response job at Scotland, ED where I worked for 1 year then I took my next assignment at NHRMC New Hanover I worked in this level 1 trauma center for 13 weeks and then transitioned upstairs to 4th floor South tower managing the care of Step-down cardiac patients post cardiothoracic surgery. Mcleod Dillon will always have a special place in my heart, my preceptor Spring was absolutely life changing and gave me the confidence to grow my career. Nothing would give me fulfillment than transitioning back into a role working with the best staff this region has.
