- Prepared surfaces for painting by washing walls, removing old paint, and sanding rough spots.
- Applied primer coats, sealers, and other protective coatings to prepared surfaces.
- Mixed paints to achieve desired colors and textures in accordance with project specifications.
- Transferred designs onto wall surfaces using grids or freehand techniques.
- Applied multiple layers of paint to create desired effects such as shading or texture.
- Protected non-painted areas from accidental spills with drop cloths and painter's tape.
- Researched historical information about specific sites prior to starting a new mural project.
