Directly responsible for scheduling, timecards, payroll, and attendance management for 500+ employees over three different shifts as well issuing disciplinary actions when necessary. Perform daily labor adjustments and job upgrades based on department staffing needs and operational directives. Track attendance daily and provide staffing reports too operations and HR.
Forecast staffing requirements using production schedules, PTO calendars, call-out trends, and headcount data. Coordinate closely with operations to address coverage gaps, including facilitating early arrivals or extended shifts with employees.
Support employees with system access issues in Workday and STAMP, password resets, and general employment inquiries. Engage employees and supervisors in discussions about internal job opportunities, encouraging growth and advancement.
Resolve attendance discrepancies by reviewing schedule notes and attendance trackers. Issue proper documentation and collaborate with HR, accounting, and payroll to correct any internal errors.
