Then the I would go out to the shed and start grabbing pallets and bringing them inside and consolidating the old stock with the new stock (FIFO). Stack empty pallets and either take them outside for another department to use or stack them in area for our stages to use.
When the stages finish with their pallets, I then take those pallets and put them out in a different part of the shed to be taken to machining.
In a warehouse like environmental, gathered different sizes of wood ranging in different sizes, and stacking it on a pallet covered with a piece of cardboard, starting with the widest and shortest and finish with with the most narrow and longest.
These then get sent to be machined into door parts.
Now that the pieces have been machined, it's time for the doors to be built
I gather all the parts for specific door or doors and stack on a a table and send up to another team member to assemble
