Property Manager for 10 Commercial properties located in 10 different cities throughout North Texas. Properties included: New Construction Shopping Centers, Pre-Built Shopping Centers, Office Buildings, and Warehouse Buildings. Worked closely with VP and property owners to ensure properties were well maintained, appealing, and profitable.

  • Traveled to each property either weekly or bi-weekly for property walks and inspections
  • Met with contractors, vendors, and inspectors at properties as needed
  • Met new tenants at newly leased spaces as well as departing tenants to receive keys upon move out
  • Walked spaces after tenant move out to determine condition and possible charges/deposit deductions

Property Manager of a 150-unit class A Luxury apartment community in the Knox-Henderson area of Uptown Dallas, TX. Worked with my team to keep resident retention extremely high. This allowed occupancy to remain at 95% - 100% at all times while leasing apartments at market rates. My team was also successful in keeping monthly rental delinquency at zero. Worked very closely with the property owners to ensure their satisfaction as well as the satisfaction of the community's residents.

  • Managed a team of 5, including an Assistant Manager, a Leasing Agent, a Maintenance Supervisor, a Maintenance Technician, and a Porter.
  • Interviewed, hired and trained office team members
  • Met with Property Owners on a quarterly basis to review property and budget status and discuss future plans or visions for the property
  • Worked closely with my Regional Manager and Property Owners to develop annual budget for property
  • Obtained quotes from contractors and vendors to ensure budget was maintained as well as for approved capital expenditures
