• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including prostate cancer, BPH, kidney stones, OAB, incontinence, hypogonadism, chronic UTI, and ED.
• Current Advanced Prostate Cancer Lead at Columbia office. Helped revitalize the program to include comprehensive treatments, patient education and access to complementary therapies. Coordinate treatment plans including ADT/ARI, managing side effects, and streamlining care with other specialists.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Provide care to urological patients in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Perform difficult foley catheter placement (with utilization of urologist tray/wires), bladder irrigation, clot evacuation, I&D of scrotal abscesses.
• Educate patients on urological health, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Implemented office workflow improvements that enhanced efficiency in patient management processes.

Provides nursing care to patients in a high-volume emergency department. Serves as unit relief charge nurse and preceptor of new registered nurses.

PACU: Management of hemodynamic stability, airway, and pain level of post-operative patients. Stabilization of patients following surgical procedures including but not limited to large joint replacement and repair, hand trauma and revascularization, spinal decompression, and urological procedures. Served as unit charge nurse and precepted new registered nurses. Developed and presented critical care competencies for registered nurse staff.

Critical Care Float Pool: Management of critically ill patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.

Responsible for direct patient care to critically ill patients with neurological disorders including stroke, brain and spine tumors and trauma. Served as unit Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) prevention educator.
